Please consider Mr. Gandhi's ongoing attacks against Israel as well as his latest statement that "the Jews are the biggest players" in global violence (WashPost OnFaith, Jan 10, 2008).

Such statements are extremist, false, and extremely biased. Do you want to support such an author?
I love this book. I learned about it when Arun came to speak and decided to buy it. Great introduction to the ideas of nonviolence in a very simple and short (read it the first time entirely in a single day) format. Have leant it out to several others to help spread the word.
This book is a good and easy read. I like how Arun narrates the story and the titles of each chapter. I think as he wrote this book it was not only a dedication to Ghandi, but a reflection for him as he has struggled on the path of non-violence. There are many lessons to be taken from this book. It forced me to think about my actions, commnity, the world, and U.S. This book is more than just than a movement, but an ideology that is sound. The author never said his grandfather was wrong or that his beliefs were the way, but it is an offering of thinking of everything around you differently. A majority of what is said in the book is something we can identify or even guilty of.

For one of the reviewers who writes Arun Ghandi is a bigot...lol. His comments concerning Isreal and Jews, he only spoke what he felt was truth. I didn't find anything he said not true. I think his comment was taken out of context and meant to be misconstrued. Of course when you have everyone against you, they want to see you fall. Arun Ghandi continue spreading the word.

I only rate books that I can give the highest mark. Arun Ghandi tells the story of life with his famously wise grandfather. I've read Mahatma Ghandi's autobiography, and this book made me admire him even more.
